Mac Duncan

General Counsel, Cross Equities, LLC and Granite Redevelopment Properties

McAlan (Mac) Duncan is a Co-Founder, Partner, and General Counsel of Cross Equities, LLC, a diversified real estate investment and development firm with assets across the United States and Mexico. 

In addition to his role at Cross Equities, Mac co-founded Granite Redevelopment Properties and served as a Principal Partner at Cross Development, LLC.  Mac serves as General Counsel of Granite where he oversees all legal aspects of the business operations of the company as well as aspects of contract negotiations, capital structuring, refinancing, acquisition and disposition of the firm’s assets. 

Mac practiced law in the real estate departments of Jenkens & Gilchrist and Fulbright & Jaworski, where he advised institutional and private clients on complex commercial real estate transactions. 

Mac earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University in 1995 and his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1999. He is recognized for his practical, results-driven legal approach and his deep understanding of real estate investment, structuring, and development.
